Equipped with sponges and vacuums, Jewish households worldwide are readying for Pesach. The holiday of our freedom, commemorating the exodus of the Jewish people from Mitzrayim, is quickly approaching. The pre-Pesach prep has everyone consumed, whether with shopping, cleaning, cooking, or studying its many laws and customs.
For the Rebbe’s Shluchim worldwide, Pesach comes with its own whirlwind of activity. They are charged with the merit to share the message and Mitzvos of Pesach with their communities. The celebration must be tailored to ensure an engaging and meaningful Pesach experience for seniors, youth, families, students, and young adults, making for a considerable task.
The Shluchim work tirelessly to ensure the many aspects of the holiday reach every Jew in their areas.
There are many excellent resources available to Shluchim. Yet, it can be tedious and time-consuming to sift through all the separate sites and resources during the busy Pesach season. To this end, Merkos 302 has created a Pesach Resource platform, consolidating a plethora of Pesach resources and tools for Shluchim.
The platform has launched once again, building on the success of the Tishrei, Chanuka, and Purim Websites. Designed especially for Shluchim, the site is an easy-access, easy-to-use portal to everything a Shliach may need to plan and organize his Pesach events and activities. They also included a collection of inspiring learning material for the Shluchim and their families.
The platform includes:
PR, Marketing, and Social Media resources
Pesach Kits for all ages and places
Modern Haggadah
Seder Companions
Learning materials
Tzivos Hashem kids resources
Four Questions Card
Ready-made flyers
11 Nissan Event
Pesach games
Video library
Pesach programs for CKids, CTeen, and CYP
And much, much more!
Many Chabad organizations, such as Chabad.org, Derher Magazine, Sichos in English, and all the Departments at Merkos 302, including the Spanish and Hebrew desks, have joined in a beautiful collaborative effort together to make this site a reality. Together, providing Shluchim with the best resources they can offer, all in a fresh, new, and efficient manner as an all-inclusive one-stop-shop.
“Pesach programming, being extensive and wide-ranging, requires a great amount of time and effort arranging,” related Rabbi Mendy Kotlarsky, executive director of Merkos 302, “We are delighted to present this initiative and feel humbled to help ease the sometimes formidable Pesach experience.”
