Kinus to Host Sheitel Expo and Sale

Thousands of shluchos around the world will be cooking a double-sized Shabbos menu this week, leaving stocked freezers and detailed instructions for their husbands who will be manning the fort while they are away at the Kinus HaShluchos next week. And for many, cooking and baking accounts for only a small portion of the many preliminaries they need to take care of before embarking on their trip.

“They put the needs of their families and communities first and can barely think about the Kinus until they get here,” explains Mrs. Esty Grossbaum, Kinus coordinator. “And once the shluchos do arrive, most of them miss out on sessions and workshops in order to chap arein on their once-a-year shopping opportunities.”

This year, however, shluchos will be able to cross one item off their to-do lists–the one that usually gets left for last: sheitel shopping. For the first time ever, the Kinus HaShluchos will be hosting a two-day sheitel expo and sale, bringing a wide variety of sheitel vendors all under one roof so shluchos don’t have to waste precious time shlepping across town. And, even better, the vendors will all be offering their wigs at specially reduced prices!

The sale will be held on Friday, 24 Shevat and Sunday, 26 Shevat from 9:00 a.m.-2:30 p.m. at the Oholei Torah playground. “We’ve rented a large heated tent and rugs to provide the ideal location, space and comfort for the shluchos,” says Shlomo G., Kinus coordinator. “We’ve got top-of-the-line manufacturers such as Milano, Claire Accuhair, Aziza Wigs, Valor Wigs, and many more, lined up with terrific merchandise at highly discounted rates. We want to make it as easy as possible for the shluchos to attend to a luxury they don’t usually afford themselves.”

Sheitel manufacturers and vendors can still reserve a table at the sheitel expo by filling out this form or calling 973-486-4783.
