For the convenience of Shluchos and guests, as well as to accommodate as many people as possible, we have arranged a new location for the Kinus Banquet. As the high point of the Kinus, the banquet will be closer to Crown Heights this year than ever, at the massive 69th Regiment Armory on Bedford Avenue between Union and President Streets.
Completed in 1907, the armory housed the Troop C cavalry unit, and has since stored heavy equipment such as artillery guns and tanks which have been rolled out for Brooklyn parades over the years. The National Guard still maintains an office there, and it is currently used by film studios to quietly shoot high-profile movies under tight security.
This new location for the banquet will ensure that the program begins punctually while saving travel and bus time.
