22 Shvat Episode of The Alef in Conversation

In a special Chof Beis Shevat edition of The Alef in Conversation podcast, guest host and Relationshift Coach, Mrs. Chayale Tzukernik, leads a compelling discussion in honor of Rebbetzin Chaya Mushka Schneerson’s 37th Yom Hilulah.

This episode, timed to coincide with the kickoff of Kinus Hashluchos 5785, explores the unique role of women in shaping the journey toward Geulah. Featuring Mrs. Sarah Korn of Chabad House Bowery, the conversation is both practical and inspiring.

Mrs. Korn shares her perspective on the power of nurturing, feminine leadership in shlichus and community engagement. “Approach outreach with a focus on making people feel comfortable and valued,” she advises. Drawing inspiration from Rebbetzin Chaya Mushka, she emphasizes the power of deep, personal connection: “She made people feel comfortable because she focused on them. She genuinely cared, and wanted to know who they were and what made them tick. That’s very feminine.”

Rabbi Mendy Kotlarsky Director of the Kinus and Executive Director of Merkos 302 reinforces the specialty of the Rebbetzin’s Yartzeit coinciding with the start of the Kinus, “The kinus is a time to recommit to the mission of bringing Geulah. The Rebbe constantly emphasized the unique role the Shluchos have in bringing Moshiach that no one else can fulfill.”

Mrs. Gitel Naparstek, Co-Director of The Moshiach Office, notes the significance of Rebbetzin Chaya Mushka in connection to the Geulah: “As discussed in the episode, the Rebbe made it very clear that despite the pain and sadness the Rebbetzin’s passing was a step in the Geulah manifesting.”

At the heart of this discussion is The Alef, a groundbreaking Torah study tool developed by The Moshiach Office at Merkos 302. It offers concise, engaging Geulah-focused study materials for Chabad Houses and learning partners worldwide.

This episode marks an exciting expansion—The Alef is introducing a new weekly feature, connecting its study materials to the weekly parsha. Designed as a ready-to-go class, The Alef is gaining a strong following among those who appreciate its clear, well-researched, and accessible format.

With its engaging discussions, The Alef in Conversation podcast is rapidly becoming a great resource of more in depth content and inspiration for the shluchos themselves before they set out to teach The Alef  lesson.

This special episode reminds us that Geulah is not just an abstract concept—it is something we can bring closer through authentic connection, nurturing leadership, and unwavering belief that the world is ready.
